My Techniques and Interventions:

  • Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT)

It is a type of psychotherapeutic treatment that helps people learn how to identify and change the destructive or disturbing thought patterns that have a negative influence on their behaviour and emotions.

  • Emotion-Focused Therapy (EFT)

It is a compassionate and transformative approach to counselling that places emotions at the core of the therapeutic process. It is based on the belief that emotions are a natural and essential part of human experience, and that understanding and processing these emotions can lead to profound healing and growth.

  • Positive Psychology

It focuses on the positive aspects of human life, human flourishing, and an applied approach to optimal functioning, such as happiness, personal strengths, and fulfilment, rather than solely on pathology and mental illness to build a life of meaning and purpose.

Hypnotherapy

Hypnotherapy

Hypnotherapy is a type of mind–body intervention in which hypnosis is used to create a state of deep relaxation, focused attention and increased suggestibility in the treatment of a medical or psychological concern. Hypnotherapy promotes positive changes in behaviour, thoughts, and emotions. During a hypnotherapy session, clients are guided into a relaxed and focused state of consciousness, akin to a trance, where their minds are more open to suggestion and exploration. By addressing deep-rooted issues and limiting beliefs at the subconscious level, hypnotherapy can effectively alleviate a wide range of concerns, including anxiety, phobias, smoking cessation, weight management, insomnia and even chronic pain management. It can also be utilized to improve confidence, focus, and overall well-being.

Emotional Freedom Technique

Emotional Freedom Technique (EFT), also known as tapping or psychological acupressure, is a unique and holistic approach to healing and emotional well-being. Grounded in the principles of traditional Chinese medicine and psychology, EFT involves tapping specific acupressure points on the body while focusing on emotional issues or negative thought patterns. This gentle and non-invasive technique aims to release energy blockages and reduce emotional distress, such as stress, anxiety, phobias, and traumatic memories. EFT helps individuals process and reframe their emotional experiences, leading to a sense of emotional freedom and empowerment. Integrating EFT into counselling sessions to complement traditional therapeutic methods, provides clients with a comprehensive and effective means to address emotional challenges, achieve emotional balance and resilience. Discover the power of EFT and unlock your potential for emotional healing and personal growth.
